We are looking to recruit a personable, professional, proactive, and caring individual to join us as a Senior Mentoring Coordinator. The role will lead our intandem mentoring project, making a positive difference to children and young people who are involved in the care system.

A key aspect of the role will be recruiting, matching and supporting volunteer mentors who will be delivering the mentoring. You will be the first point of contact for volunteers, and young people, offering a high level of support and seeking to positively impact those involved in the project.

Funded by the Scottish Government and overseen by Inspiring Scotland, the national intandem mentoring programme aims to support care-experienced children and young people aged 8-14 years who are living at home and looked after by the local authority or in kinship care. The disruption children face when they are involved in the care system can be challenging and potentially damaging, intandem has been set up to help young people overcome these challenges.

If you are inspired by our cause, can demonstrate success in a similar role, are organised, have excellent communications skills and have a passion for working with volunteers and children, we would love to hear from you. This is an exciting time to join the charity as we grow and develop our programmes for local children, young people and families
