There is a huge variety of races and distances to choose from, so there is bound to be a challenge that suits you, your team and/or your family!
Step up to the challenge on behalf of Befriend a Child! On Saturday 28th February 2026, join Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland at Aberdeen Science Centre for an unforgettable Firewalk. You’ll be guided by Blaze Firewalking before crossing 20ft of burning embers, all while raising vital funds for children and young people who need it most.
Registration is just £10 with a fundraising pledge of £150 and entry free of £50pp. Participants must be aged 14+.

Take on the Port of Leith Distillery Abseil, an exhilarating chance to descend 131ft off the tallest whisky distillery in the world, right by Edinburgh’s skyline! The drop offers dazzling views of the Royal Yacht Britannia and is set for Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2026.
It’s just £20 to register, a £92 entry fee and a fundraising target of £200. You must be aged 11+, weigh under 120kg, and all proceeds go to supporting our mission in transforming the lives of children and young people living in difficult life circumstances.

The legendary Beast Race will return in 2026, a mud-filled, adrenaline-fuelled obstacle course through some of Scotland’s most rugged terrain. It’s the perfect mix of fun, fitness and teamwork, guaranteed to push your limits while raising vital funds for children and young people in our community.

Ride the North is set to make a comeback in 2026, bringing cyclists together to experience some of the most breathtaking routes across the North East. This scenic cycling event is as much about camaraderie as it is about the miles, making it ideal for both seasoned riders and keen beginners.
