Befriend a Child are based in the heart of Aberdeen City centre at 9 Bon Accord Square and have a whole host of facilities on offer for the children and volunteers we support.

	Fully equipped IKEA kitchen Kindly donated and fitted by IKEA back in 2017 our fully equipped kitchen is a popular room with the volunteers and children we support as an activity space for learning new skills like baking and cooking. The only catch? Samples of all baked goods must be provided for the Befriend a Child staff team.
	The Wooden Spoon Playzone Thanks to a grant we received from The Wooden Spoon Charity we were able to refurbish our basement and transform the space into a fun and interactive playzone where the children we support can enjoy board games and crafts with their volunteer or group activities during our school holiday playscheme.
	The Lorraine Craig Media Room Named after one of Befriend a Child’s long-term supporters and refurbished with money kindly donated by APACHE, our media room is a great space for children and their volunteers to enjoy for game days and film screenings.
