Fundraising Manager (Trusts and Corporates) Full time (37.5 hours a week) At Befriend a Child we believe every child deserves a happy childhood and the best chance in life to succeed and thrive. We support children and young people growing up in difficult life circumstances across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire helping them to develop into confident young adults and achieve their full potential. We do that by matching them with trained volunteers who deliver 1:1 befriending and mentoring which over time has a transformational effect. We are looking to recruit an experienced and talented individual to join our dynamic fundraising and marketing team to secure funds from Trusts and Corporates. If you have excellent writing and communication skills, have a passion for your work and are inspired by our cause we would love to hear from you. The role is responsible for identifying potential funders and matching them with charity programmes and projects. The postholder will write persuasive grant applications and funding proposals to achieve income targets and will work with colleagues to evaluate outcomes and report back to funders. The role will also develop relationships with our corporate partners. The postholder will join a friendly and professional team and the role offers the opportunity to make a big impact to the success of the charity.
