Group sessions

Befriend a Child also host monthly group sessions for the children we support and their befrienders and mentors using the facilities at our base at 9 Bon Accord Square.

The children are invited to take part in activities such as baking and cooking, painting, games, and seasonal crafting with their befrienders and mentors where they will also have the opportunity to meet other children and volunteers.

Parties and outings

Throughout the year Befriend a Child also host Halloween and Christmas parties as well as an annual summer outing all of the children and our volunteers are invited to take part in.

We are looking for a personable, professional and caring individual to join us as a Senior Mentoring Coordinator. The role will lead our intandem mentoring project, making a positive difference to children and young people who are involved in the care system.
