Fundraising Assistant Recruitment

The role will provide administrative support to the fundraising and marketing team and will be responsible for maintaining the supporter database. You will also undertake research into local funding opportunities and support the delivery of our events. This is a new role in the team and would suit someone with great organisational skills and attention to detail.

You will be joining a team that pulls together and goes the extra mile. You don’t need previous fundraising experience, but if you have some, that’s great. What you do need is the right attitude, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make a difference for local children.

Befriend a Child provides 1:1 and group befriending and mentoring to children and young people living in difficult life circumstances. This is a great time to join us. We have had lots of recent success to build on, we have a new CEO who is planning our next 3-year strategy and we are launching a new website and digital fundraising platform this year.

The roles will be based in our office at 9 Bon Accord Square. Our working day is 9.00am – 4.30pm and we operate flexitime and toil.
