Volunteer Vacancies

Befriend a Child is very much a volunteer organisation and always have a number of volunteer vacancies available, please remember to check out the Volunteer Befriender and the Volunteer Fundraiser section here.

Befriend A Child are looking for a volunteer handyman for their Bon Accord premises. Anyone willing to help in this area would require to help with duties including minor joinery repairs and light bulb changes on an ad-hoc basis. If you are interested in lending your skills to the organisation in this way, please contact Chief Executive Karen Farquhar on 01224 210060.

Befriend A Child require a volunteer cleaner for the offices and base unit.  We would be happy to speak to anyone with experience in commercial cleaning who can offer a few hours of their time to the organisation.  Please call Karen on 01224 210060 if you would be interested.

Befriend A Child are looking for a volunteer window cleaner for their Bon Accord premises.  Anyone willing to help in this area would require to clean internally on a quarterly basis and externally every two months.  If you are interested in lending your skills to the organisation in this way, please contact Chief Executive Karen Farquhar on 01224 210060.

Voluntary Committee Members

The Management Committee of Befriend A Child meet once a month at the charity’s offices at 9 Bon Accord Square.  Enthusiastic new members with the drive and determination to take the organisation forward are always welcome.  Anyone with connections within the business community, or with fresh ideas for the future direction of Befriend A Child would be especially welcome, and should contact Chief Executive Karen Farquhar on 01224 210060 to register their interest.
